love and letting be

Krishnamurti
Jiddu Krishnamurti*

When Krishnamurti and others say that love has no opposite, they are pointing beyond the mind to what is happening now as simply what is happening now – without thinking it good or bad or something in between – just letting it be. This letting be is love. As the Dalai Lama is said to have said, love is the absence of judgment.

do no harm to any being;
do no more than need be done to be and let be;
love this being: let it be

There is great happiness in not wanting, in not being something, in not going somewhere.
